Yeah this is awesome!! wow the textures are very nice, I love it. Must have taken a very long time.
I find the light is fantastic. There is this background, far away which suggest that the world is uniformly cold and strange, then this very dark forest meaning that the world can actually be even more scary, and there is this foreground where you see that people seem happy to live in this crazy world.
One critique though, I would have drawn the windows and door opening less regular, a bit more crappy. But I think it is great that the door has been left open, it's like there is no need to close the door on such an emptiness.

Wow, thank you very much for the insightful comment. And yes, this did take a while to draw. I completely agree with your critique - the windows and doors bother me a little bit for their incongruous straightness. I might go in that fix them at some point. Thanks again!

yeah, somehow this straight door also adds some rigidity to the potential characters living in the house. It also produces a nice scary effect :)

Wow! Now all the old stories(tales) from childhood about Baba Yaga look alot more creepier after seeing this picture
