Lost and Found in Hell by ratfactor Lost and Found in Hell by ratfactor
If you happen to find my skull while wandering about in the wilderness, please do not attempt to return it to me. I probably had a good reason to leave it there.

What did you make this with? Ink and brush?

Ah, thanks for asking. I made this with Sketchbook Pro 2011. I created a "brush" that to some degree mimics brushed ink. It's a blast to work with.

It looks like a lot of fun! I wish I had that program now. Is everything/most of what you do with SP?

Yeah, I use Sketchbook a lot. I used to do everything with traditional tools - actual brushes and ink in bottles. I still enjoy that. This just tends to be a lot more convenient.

I've recently taken up acrylic painting, but I've yet to produce anything good enough to post. Hopefully someday soon. :-)

I've been trying traditional ink and brush myself. It's a wonderful look, but so far everything I do looks sloppy haha. Probably cause I can't undo my shitty mistakes, so a digital equivalent sounds awesome.

I'm sure it won't take you long to master acrylics. I'm not sure if I love or hate them, but with your skill, you'll probably own that medium in no time.

Yeah, it's hard to beat the ability to undo. And clean up the art supplies by clicking a Close button. :-)

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the acrylics. Likewise, you'll have no trouble with the brush and ink - you've already got the skillz.

Agreed. Sometimes when I paint my fingers itch to reach the ctrl and z keys.

Awesome! Great pep talk, team. You're a cool guy.
